Business Interviews - John Pennington

Interview with John Pennington President Hendersonville Area Chamber of Commerce

With nearly 30 years of experience as a public relations executive and business owner, and the Chamber’s President for the last fifteen years, Pennington is a role model for civic involvement.  Under Pennington’s leadership, the Hendersonville Chamber has grown into one of the most vibrant Chambers in the area, due in no small part to Pennington’s own track record of volunteer leadership, which has inspired many Chamber members to test the waters of volunteerism.

John will be retiring at the end of the month and I sat down with him to ask a few questions about his time with the chamber and his advice to the next president.
